Eligibility explained

Can I Study Public Health with Aggregate 36?

An aggregate of 36 is not a universal Public Health entry decision. The answer depends on how the aggregate was calculated, your subjects and the exact institution and programme.

Reviewed

The Short Answer

Possibly. Based on the Find My Uni GH dataset snapshot reviewed 2026-09-12, some BSc Public Health records list an aggregate maximum of 36 as a screening example, while other records list a different maximum or no identical combination. This is not an active-intake official requirement. You still need the stated core subjects, enough accepted electives and the programme's minimum grades. Eligibility is separate from admission.

What aggregate 36 can and cannot show

The current programme data includes BSc Public Health records with an aggregateRequired value of 36. It also includes other Public Health records with different requirements, so the number should not be treated as a national cut-off.

The matcher calculates an aggregate from the best six grades entered, then compares it with the programme's recorded maximum when that field exists. The institution may describe its calculation or selection process differently.

  • Confirm which six results the provider uses for its aggregate.
  • Check the exact programme and institution rather than only the programme name.
  • Do not treat 36 as a guaranteed admission threshold or offer.

Check the subject combination

In the dataset snapshot, Public Health commonly lists English Language and Mathematics (Core), with accepted electives that can include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography or other named subjects.

A matching aggregate cannot repair a missing core subject, an insufficient elective count or a grade below the programme's recorded minimum.

  • Check English Language and Mathematics (Core) first.
  • Check whether Biology, Chemistry or another listed elective is required.
  • Enter every result accurately so the matcher can assess the full combination.

Confirm before choosing a health route

Public Health degree records are not the same as nursing or other regulated health training pathways. Their entry processes and programme availability can differ.

Use a match as a shortlist aid, then review the provider's current notice, application portal and documents. Ask admissions to assess your certificate before payment.

  • Open the institution source attached to the result.
  • Ask whether the 36 aggregate condition is active for your intake.
  • Confirm current requirements with the institution before applying.

Public Health requirements and aggregate fields are based on the Find My Uni GH dataset snapshot reviewed 2026-09-12, where provider records vary. The available evidence does not support a current institution-specific requirement for this example, so this page is non-indexable. Eligibility screening does not establish admission, programme accreditation, professional licensure, clinical placement or active-intake availability.
