Overview
BA English develops advanced ability in language, literature and critical communication. At KNUST, the programme can prepare you to interpret Ghanaian and global texts, communicate persuasively and contribute to education, publishing, media, business and cultural life.
What you will study
You study English language, grammar, phonetics, writing, literary criticism, African and world literature, drama, poetry, prose and research methods. You strengthen skills in analysis, editing, academic writing, public speaking, interpretation and presenting complex ideas clearly.
