Overview
BSc Governance and Leadership develops your understanding of how institutions are managed, how public decisions are made and how ethical leaders create better organisations. At GIMPA, the programme is valuable for building the accountable leadership Ghana needs in government, business, civil society and international institutions.
What you will study
You study governance systems, leadership theory, public administration, ethics, constitutional issues, policy analysis, organisational behaviour, strategic management and research methods. You build skills in decision-making, negotiation, communication, project management, stakeholder engagement and institutional performance assessment.
Career prospects
You can become a governance officer, public administrator, policy analyst, organisational development officer, compliance officer, programme manager or leadership consultant. Career opportunities include Ghana's Civil Service, local government, Parliament, banks, corporate organisations, NGOs, regulatory bodies and international development agencies.
