HND Civil Engineering Technology prepares you to support the planning, construction and maintenance of roads, buildings, drainage systems and other infrastructure. What you will study
You study construction materials, surveying, structural principles, soil mechanics, hydraulics, highway engineering, building technology and computer-aided drafting. You also develop skills in site supervision, quantity estimation, technical reporting, health and safety, and project coordination.

You can work as a civil engineering technician, site supervisor, materials technician, survey assistant, CAD technician or construction works inspector.
