Overview
HND Mechanical Engineering Technology trains you to support the design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems. At Kumasi Technical University, the programme is relevant to Ghana’s strong commercial, automotive, manufacturing, construction, mining and agro-processing activities.
What you will study
You study mechanics, engineering drawing, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, manufacturing processes, materials science, workshop technology and industrial maintenance. Practical projects and attachment help you gain experience in machining, fabrication, equipment servicing, production planning, quality control and computer-aided design.
