Overview
You study the technical processes involved in designing, constructing and maintaining residential, commercial and public buildings. The programme gives you practical skills that support Ghana’s demand for quality housing, reliable infrastructure and professionally managed construction projects.
What you will study
You learn about construction materials, building production, structural systems, surveying, technical drawing, building services, estimating and construction management. Practical work develops your ability to interpret plans, organise site activities, monitor quality and apply health and safety standards.
Career prospects
You can pursue roles such as building technologist, site manager, construction supervisor, estimator, building inspector or facilities coordinator.
